White Sauce Grilled Sandwich



Ingredients
:

For Chicken:
  • Chicken: 1 Cup 
  • Salt: 1 tsp
  • Black pepper: 1 tsp
  • White Pepper: 1 tsp

For Vegetables:
  • Onion (Chopped): 1
  • Mushrooms: 1/2 cup
  • Capsicum (Cutted): 2
  • Garlic (Chopped): 2 Cloves 
  • Salt: 1/2 Tsp
  • Black pepper: 1/2 Tsp 
  • White Pepper: 1/2 Tsp 
  • Butter: 2 Tsp

For White Sauce:
  • 2 Tbsp: Butter 
  • 4 Tbsp: Flour
  • 1 Cup: Milk
  • Salt: 1 tsp 
  • Black pepper: 1 tsp 
  • Oregano: 1 Tbsp 
  • Garlic powder: 1/2 Tsp 
  • Heavy Cream: 1 tsp
  • Cream cheese: 1 tsp
  • Mozeralla cheese: 1/2 cup 
  • Cheddar cheese: 1/2 cup 

For Sandwiches:
  • Chicken 
  • Vegetables 
  • White Sauce
  • Sandwich bread 
  • Butter (soft): 3-4 tsp
  • Italian herbs: 1 tsp 



Method:

  • For Chicken:
  • In a pan, add a tsp of oil. As it heats, add in the chicken and sautè until golden. Add salt, black pepper and white pepper. Stir and set aside.

  • For vegetables:
  • In a pan, add a tsp of oil. As it heats, add in the onion and sautè. As it turns translucent, add in chopped mushrooms and capsicum. Stir and add garlic, salt, black pepper, white pepper. In the end add butter stir and set aside

  • For white sauce:
  • In a pan, add butter. When it melts, add flour and whisk until a paste is formed. Quickly as milk, stirring continually. Add salt, black pepper, white pepper and garlic powder. When it starts to thicken stir in the heavy cream, cream cheese and mozeralla and cheddar. Whisk and set aside.

  • For Sandwich Assembling:
  • In a bowl add soft butter and Italian seasoning and set aside. Take two pieces of bread, on one piece spread white sauce and spread the vegetables. On the other slice, spread chicken and close both sandwiches to rather. Spread butter seasoning on the outside of sandwich. Now take a grill pan or sandwich maker and place the sandwich. Cook until golden brown. Now take it out and serve while hot. Enjoy!!
